Court Options is a private sector pretrial diversion program servicing Monroe, Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. The program offers an alternative to defendants who have been arrested for a misdemeanor or felony offenses. Individuals are presented the opportunity to avoid prosecution and the subsequent dismissal of charges upon successful completion. Scram X is a protocol used with offenses related to substance usage, DUI, family court and mental health issues, veterans’ affairs. These courts refer individuals for monitoring of abstinence on a 24/7 basis; thus promoting community safety, adherence to court orders, and better treatment outcomes.
